• Overview
Research & Concept Development
The concept development phase focused on exploring abstract visual storytelling through typography, rhythm, and atmospheric motion. Research was conducted into experimental title sequence design, cinematic pacing, and contemporary motion graphics to establish a visual language that felt both immersive and emotionally driven. Moodboards, frame studies, and reference analysis helped define the project’s tone, while early style exploration informed decisions surrounding texture, composition, lighting, and movement throughout the sequence.
• Process
The Previs Plan phase focused on establishing the overall structure, pacing, and cinematic direction of the abstract title sequence before entering full production. Storyboards, animatics, and timing tests were developed to map out camera movement, typography transitions, and the relationship between visual rhythm and sound design. This stage allowed experimentation with composition, scene progression, and shot continuity while identifying the strongest visual moments early in the workflow. By creating a detailed previs plan prior to production, the project maintained a clearer creative direction, improved production efficiency, and provided a stronger foundation for integrating motion, compositing, and atmospheric visual effects throughout the final sequence.
